My Sis is Here!!!

Since my sister and I are close to 9 years apart, we never really grew up together. She wasn't "cool" enough to talk to when I was still living at home. She was an annoying, little brat. With her graduating and moving on to bigger and better things, I thought it would be a good idea for her to move out to Vegas for the summer and get a job. It would be a great opportunity for us to get reaquainted. I thought it would be so great for her to come out here and we could do all those things that sisters do. We never got to go shopping, get lunch, share stories etc.
She came out here a couple of weeks ago and we have had our challenges. Even though we haven't lived under the same roof in over 8 years, we still manage to bicker and argue just as sisters would do. With me living in a completely different environment than she us use to, I have been trying to show her the "city" life. We have had a good time going to dinners, laying out by the pool, shopping and getting caught up. I have also assigned her chores around the house. HAHAHA. Like she is going to get a free ride. I sound like a mom. "Can you take out the trash please." What has become of me? Maybe this experience will be good for me. It will allow me to see how much of a handful a teenager can be and it also made me want to call my mom and say I am sorry for being such a brat! She must have wanted to pull her hair out with me!
I just can't wait to have one of my own!!!!!

Wyoming!

Just recently, my fiance and I had a chance to make it out to good ol Lovell for a nice visit. It was Keith's first time and let me tell you, he didn't know what he was in store for. When we arrived in Billings, he was checking out the scene and had made a few comments about how quaint and small it was. Really Keith? I am pretty sure I explained to him how big my home town was, but at this point, I don't think he quite grasped it. So here we are, treking along in our BRIGHT RED rented mazda. With my led food and the color of the car, odds were completely against us. As we are exiting the wonderful, excitement filled town of Deaver, I feel as if I am in the clear so I decide to speed up. BIG MISTAKE! Out of nowhere, here comes a sheriff with his lights flashing. The only thing I am thinking is, "Please let me know this guy so I can get out of a ticket." Who gets out of the truck? Officer Angel. Thank goodness! I am saved. After a little convincing and promising to never go 65 in a 45, I was out of the ticket and back on the road to Lovell.

A quick tour of the town sites, "Here is the sugar factory, there is the grocery store, here is lovell drug." Grand Finale!! "There is Conoco." Keith the tour is over. I am quite proud of my home. I made sure to include the "hang out" saveway, and what use to be the best place to get nachos! Keith was a little shocked at how small it really was. I told him that by the end of the trip, he would be meeting quite a few people. At my sisters graduation, he had the honor of meeting the whole town. I always keep my promises.

This time coming home, we got to play tourists. We took a trip to cody, visited the museum, headed out to the damn. I almost forgot how georgous Wyoming is. I guess I took it for granted when I lived there and had all the beautiful scenery at my beck and call. Take the time to get out there and enjoy all the great things Wyoming has to offer!!!!

Finally!

I am new to the whole blogging world. I was busy looking at everybody else's pages and I thought to myself that this was a great way to keep in touch with everyone. I got to work creating a page for Keith and I. My new last name is going to be ball. Yes people, that is no lie hahaha. When I was creating the page, my initial display name was going to be "The Ball's" however, this was considered profanity and was not excepted by the blogging police so the Ball Family is now the new display name.

So to bring you up to speed somewhat, I am living in Las Vegas. I have been here for almost 4 years and I am about to be married to the most amazing person I have ever met. I am sure some of you reading this are saying, "Finally Renae!" "Its about time!" Thanks alot guys! Haha. We are getting married in October and so far the wedding planning has been very painless and easy. My fiance is an executive for the Mirage hotel and I use to work for the Mirage so that is where the match made in heaven occured. We are both goofy people and I am just happy I finally met someone who can put up with all my crap!

We are both very interested in leaving Las Vegas and we hope the opportunity to leave comes sooner than later. Not sure where we want to go, but it better be somewhere sunny!!
